Obituary of Mary McConnon

Mary McConnon, age 85, passed away August 3, 2021. A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. A graveside service will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens with Father Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt officiating. The Rosary and Visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, August 6, 2021 between 6:00 P.M and 8:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, General Funds, 300 S Davis Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088, https://giving.parishsoft.com/App/Giving/sacr251137.

Mary was born in Liverpool, England on July 26, 1936 to the late Nora Kelly and Edward Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Joseph McConnon. Mary was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1982 and was a CCD teacher for 38 years. She also worked in the Church gift shop and was also a lector. In addition to the church, Mary enjoyed British classic television shows, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her loving family.

Mary is survived by her children, Anthony (Julie) McConnon and Mary Shepard; grandchildren, Danielle Shepard, Gweneth Reichert, Zach (Sami) Reichert, Nathan Reichert, and a host of extended family and friends.
