Obituary of Mary Evelyn Vashey

Warner Robins, Georgia – Mary Evelyn Vashey, 102, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021. 

Mary was born on December 14, 1918 in Wakefield, New Hampshire to the late Edith Irene (Newcomb) and Edgar Ira Drown. She was the second child of eleven children.   After graduating from Brewster Academy she went on to become an RN and  worked at Frisbie Memorial Hospital for 32 years.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Henry, son Dennis and her siblings- Edgar, Marjorie, Phyllis, Peggy, Ruth, Millie, Jean and Steve.

Left to cherish her memory is her Son, Thomas Vashey (Patsy);  Daughter-In-Law, Diane Vashey; Grandchildren -  Nicole, Kara, Danielle, Andrea;  six great-grandchildren and her brothers -  Bill and Paul Drown.  She also leaves a close friend, Norma Bullis.  Mary is also survived by a host of extended family members.
