Obituary of Christine Lorette Decker

Christine Loretta Hester Decker, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Jeremy Pond officiating. Burial will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Christine was born in Savannah Georgia to the late Rufus Raymond Hester and Berta Louise Mallette. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis William Decker. Christine was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Robins Duplicate Bridge Club and the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club. Christine was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that will be dearly missed.

Christine is survived by her son, Randy Decker, daughters Patty Herb and Carolyn Decker; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and her beloved sister Betty Fish. She also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends.
