Obituary of Agnes Elizabeth Blakely Todd

Warner Robins, Georgia – Agnes Elizabeth Blakely Todd, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2021 with her beloved family at her bedside. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service honoring the life of Agnes will be held on, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A family only graveside will be held Wednesday at Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens.

 

Agnes was born November 8, 1933 in Taylor County, Georgia to the late Eula Elizabeth Hinton Blakely and Henry Thomas Blakely, Sr. Mrs. Todd began her career at Southern Bell Telephone Company in Macon, Georgia after graduating from Butler High School in Butler, Georgia. She retired from Robins Air Force base after 22 faithful years of service. She was an Item Manager in the Vehicles Directorate where she managed items for the Rapid Deployment Force. During her years of service, she received several Outstanding Performance Awards, and a Notable Achievement Award. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, Lois Bible Class and Senior Adults PEARLS. A member of NARFE chapter 1020 where she served as Secretary for several years and as Sunshine Chairperson for several years. A member of Robins Ramblers Square Dance Club where she was a previous Co-president and Secretary. Member of excellent opportunities and Health 2You Bridge Clubs. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, and playing bridge.

 

In addition to her parents, Agnes is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill J. Todd; Daughter: Cathie Todd; Son: J. Gary Todd; Sisters: Gwen Blakely Sullivan; Mary Gatliff, Nelle Albritton; Brothers: Henry Blakely, Jr., and Robert Eugene Blakely.

 

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughters: Gail Brock (Herbert), and Bonny Todd. Three Grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; Sister-in-law: Sylvia Padgette; Brother-in-law; Jack Todd. Several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members also survive her.
