Obituary of Connie M Pinkard

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Connie M. Pinkard, 85, “Grandma Rose” is now walking with her Lord Jesus. A Virtual Memorial Service will be held online 10:00AM Monday, January 4, 2021, at www.heritagemfh.com. Reverend Kirk Hagan will officiate.

Connie was born April 27, 1935 in Tampa, Florida to the late Vance and Dorothy Payne. She retired after more than 10 years as a registered Nurse for Dr. Raghu in Warner Robins. Connie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and volunteered as a “Pink Lady” at the Houston Medical Center. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her fellow “Bridge Ladies” and bowling. Connie was known to be the life of the party and enjoyed playing a good prank. On January 20, 1956, Connie married the love of her life, Robert. Nothing, however, lit up her life more than her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Laurie Winters, Jean Baugh, and Donnie Payne.

Connie is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Robert Wayne Pinkard, daughter, Nancy E. Brown; granddaughter, Nikhole Francis Brown Mitchell; grandson, Jeremiah Wayne Brown; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Please sign the online guest registry at www.heritagemfh.com.
