Obituary of Andrew Charles Higgins

Warner Robins, Georgia – Andrew Charles Higgins, 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 with his beloved family at his bedside. A Funeral Service honoring his life will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Immediately following the services Andy will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 From 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

 

Andy was born on May 6, 1959 in Madison, Indiana to Donna Kay Herring and Charles Franklin Higgins. Andy was a simple man who was full of life and loved everyone. Andy was a very devoted family man who loved being surrounded by those he loved. Andy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 21 years until his retirement. Upon his retirement, Andy continued to serve his country in the civilian profession at Robins Air Force Base. Andy was proud to be an American and he was often described as a patriotic man. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

 

There awaiting for him at the gates of heaven was his beloved Father, Charles Franklin Higgins.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife for the last 35 years, Yong Hui Higgins; Mother, Donna Kay Herring; Daughter, Sara Higgins; Grandchildren, Charles Eppinger, Alana Eppinger; Siblings, Cheryl Pope (Darren), Gary Higgins (Loretta), and Karen Musser (Dennis). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
