Obituary of Gloria Jean Releford

Byron, GA- Gloria Jean Releford, 66, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020, 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Parkway Memorial Gardens. A visitation is scheduled on Friday, September, 4 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Globug, as she was known, was born in 1954 to Catherine McElroy in Kathleen, Georgia. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base after 22 years and also as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner in various nursing stations across the county. Gloria was a talented seamstress and loved to fish on the ponds of Robins Air Force Base. She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Gloria's memory will forever be cherished by her sons, Antwan (Shemeka) Smith, Adrian Toliver, and Khalil Bey all of Warner Robins; mother, Catherine McElroy of Warner Robins; brother, Aaron Johnson; sisters, Betty (Reggie) Kennedy, Janet Mitchell, Sharon (Gary) Runnels, Patricia (Willie)Jackson, Carolyn Mitchell, and Nannette Mitchell; grandchildren, Mariah Releford, Alaysia Smith, and Kaden Toliver, and four best friends, Theresa, Rachel, Debra, and David Daniels.
