Obituary of Theodore James Bonet

Byron, GA- MSgt. Theodore James "Ted" Bonet, USAF (Ret.), 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 6:00PM in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial is scheduled for Thursday, September 3 in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Pastor James Anderson will officiate.
Ted was born July 15, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 22 years. Ted delivered the mail in rain, sleet, and snow for the United States Postal Service. He was avid coin collector who loved to comb the beaches with his metal detector looking for lost treasures. Ted enjoyed a good Stephen King Novel and Garfield comic strips. He loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew him. Ted is preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Kathy Bonet.
He is survived by his children, Thanh Van Bonet of California, My-Chi Thi Melener of Hawaii, My-Chau Thi Bonet of California, and Anh Ngoc Do of California; step children, Jason Aitken (Katja) of Washington, and Nichole Lively (Jonathan) of Warner Robins; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
