Obituary of Charles Abbott

Kathleen, Georgia – Charles Edward Abbott, Jr., passed away, Tuesday August 4, 2020. A Visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday August 8, 2020 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Burial will be private.

Charles was born on November 16, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Edward Abbott Sr. and Ruth Hargan. Charles was a true patriotic man who loved his country and his Philadelphia sports teams. He faithfully and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for many years. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, to all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his beautiful bride for the last 47 years, Julia Abbott, Kathleen; 2 children, Christie Abbott, Arizona; Todd Richard Abbott (Erica), Pennsylvania; sister, Maybelle Goin, Missouri; 2 brothers, James Abbott (Cindy), and Glenn Abbott (Cynthia), both of Pennsylvania; 3 grandchildren, Kaycee, Vincent and Angeline Abbott of Pennsylvania and his special beloved dog, Baylee.
