Obituary of Robert F. Mahone, Jr.

Macon, Georgia – Robert Floyd Mahone, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Robert was born on November 26, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia to Robert Mahone, Sr, and the late Virginia Green Mahone. Robert was a simple man who loved everyone and greeted everyone with a smile. He was an avid car man who loved working on anything with a motor. Robert was a very genuine individual who loved everyone and would help anyone out in their time of need. He was a man full of many traits who was very skilled with his hands. In his free time he could often be found grilling and smoking meat for his family to enjoy or going on long rides to enjoy the beauty the Lord had created. He was avid talker who would reminisce on the good times but only if he truly knew you. Robert was a born again believer of his savior Jesus Christ.

 

There to meet him at the gates of heaven was his beloved Mother, Virginia Green Mahone.

 

Left to cherish his memory is their beloved children, Robert Jarreau, Kathy Hardee (Shane), Hubert Williams, Louis Wiggins (Terri); father, Robert Mahone, Sr.; sister, Audrey Davis (Ronald); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of extended family members.
