Obituary of Bobby E. Collins

Perry, Georgia – Bobby Eugene Collins passed away peacefully on Friday May 1, 2020. A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 6:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funerals service. At the request of the family, they asks that all attended please dress casually.

Bobby Collins was born on May 22, 1969 in Macon, Georgia to Patsy Christian Collins, and Donnie Collins. Bobby was a simple man who would always be found working with his hands. Bobby was a prideful man who lived life to the fullest and loved all those around him. One of his favorite hobbies was to be at the dragstrip and watch all the hotrods race down the strip. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grand-father, brother, and a friend to many.

Bobby is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patsy Christian Collins.

Bobby’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of fourteen years, Julie Green Collins; Father, Donnie Collins; Children, Jeff Collins, Justin Collins, Jamie Collins (Bailey), Shayna Jones (Kevin), and Jessica Hester; grandchildren, Bently, Finnley, Brock, Kaybrien, Brantley, Gracie, and Jamie Lynn; siblings, Tommy Collins (Pam), and Patricia Wheeler (Dwayne). Bobby is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St ste.a, Macon, GA 31201.
