Obituary of James Daniel Crapps

 Byron, Georgia – James “JC” Daniel Crapps passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Houston medical Center with his beloved family at his bedside. A memorial service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00AM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. On Monday, February 3, 2020 a private graveside will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

JC was born on July 2, 1958 to the late Johnnie  Lightsey and Thurman Crapps in Parris island, South Carolina. He was an avid fisher and loved to be on the body of water fishing for bass. JC was an avid auto enthusiast. JC loved the game of baseball and golf where he could be seen swinging on the beautiful fairways of Middle Georgia. He will forever be remembered as a simple man who loved to tinker with things and make others smile any chance he could. He will forever be remembered as a loving fiancé, father, pops, brother, and friend to many.

His memory will forever be cherished by his loving fiancé, Vicki James; children, Lacy James (Lynn), Matthew James (Heather); grandchildren, Brooklyn James; 11 siblilings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
