Obituary of Frank Vinson Davis

Frank Vinson Davis, 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 12, 2019.  A service celebrating his life will be held on, Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11:00AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Centerville. Burial will be private.

Frank was born in Macon, GA. on July 10, 1932 to the late Ernest and Annie Mae Davis. He served his country proudly and with honor in the United States Navy for 4 years. After getting out of the service he went to work for Plumbers and Pipefitters National Union, where he retired after 37 years of loyal service. He loved fishing but, his greatest love was for his family whom he adored.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Julie Davis, 1 brother and 1 sister.

His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 68 years, Merle Davis; daughter, Cathy Wallace; 2 sons, David Davis and Glenn Davis; 3 grandchildren, Amy Wallace, Amanda (Will) Wood, and Jason (Dawn) Horne; 3 great grandchildren, Addison, Avery and Emma Rose; and 1 sister, Bernice Davis.
