Obituary of Jeannette Rico Milani

Jeannette Milani, 60, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2019. A memorial service and celebration of her life will held at 1:00PM on December 14, 2019 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor David Semones will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter.

Jeannette worked at Arinc in logistics for 22 years before retiring. She was incredibly creative, particularly enjoying drawing and crafting with her grandchildren. Jeannette earned an associate’s degree in Logistics from Georgia Military College. She loved her dogs, Harley & Ginger. Her four grandchildren were precious to her; she especially enjoyed activities like strawberry picking. She was a homebody by nature and was obsessed with Mexican food and reading true crime novels. Her husbands, Michael Rico and Greg A. Milani, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two daughters, Victoria Cooper (Micah) and Elizabeth Colon (Carlos); four grandchildren, Zora and Korra Mae (Victoria’s) and Faye and Carlos (Elizabeth’s); her parents, Linwood and Marion Douglass; two brothers, Bill Douglass (Jackie) and Mark Douglass (Laura); seven nieces and nephews; five great nephews; and extended family and friends.
