Pauline Patterson

Obituary of Pauline Patterson

Pauline Patterson entered into eternal rest peacefully during her sleep on September 14, 2019.  She was born a coal miner's daughter in a four room house atop a hill at Windsor Heights, West Virginia.  She was one of twelve siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Technical Sergeant Bill Patterson; her parents Stanley and Helen Liponoga and her son Raymond Dare Patterson. She is survived by her daughter Patti Gardner and son Buddy (Stanley Michael); her son-in-law Michael Eugene Gardner and her grandson's Matthew David Gardner and Mark Daniel Gardner, her three grand-children Elliot, Allison, and Leighannah, family member Brittney Turner. Her surviving siblings John, Bernice, Helen, and Anne, the many nieces and nephews and friends; and her loving companion Stetson 'the weenie dog!' She will be remembered and cherished forever by them all.

Pauline was an employee of Robins Air Force Base for many years and was medically retired in 1984.  She was a hard worker since the age of 14... growing up in the depression to assist with the family expenses. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family in Michigan when she was able. Within but the last few months she spent quality time with her great-grandchildren daily. She was dedicated to taking care of her adult son Buddy. She will be greatly missed by those left behind. Until then Mom, Nanny, Paulie, Aunt Pauline see you later! We love you much!
