Obituary of Ernest O. Sheriff

Byron, GA: Ernest O. Sheriff, Jr., 47, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004. Services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in the Byron City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Sheriff was born in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest O. Sheriff, Sr.. At the time of his death, he was disable but had been a truck driver most of his life. Mr. Sheriff served with the Army National Guard in Forsyth and was a veteran of the U.S.Army Survivors include his mother, Dorothy M. Sheriff of Byron, daughters, Julie, Crystal and Amy Sheriff, sons, Ernest O. Sheriff, III and Joey Sheriff, brothers, John Sheriff and Randy Sheriff both of Byron, sister, Audrey of Madison, grandfather, R.O. Sheriff of Byron, aunts, Kathy, Judy, Joyce and Jane, several neices, cousins and uncles. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
